Aniplex Releases Trailer For Hana Kimi Anime

Aniplex released the first preview video of the anime adaptation of the late Hisaya Nakajo's "Hanazakari no Kimitachi e" yesterday.

More known internationally as "Hana-Kimi", the story revolves around Mizuki Asahiya, a Japanese girl who enrolls in an all-boys school to be with her idol, Izumi Sano.

While the manga itself isn't that popular in the Philippines, "Hana Kimi" made a name for itself when both ABS-CBN and GMA aired two drama adaptations. ABS-CBN aired the Taiwanese drama adaptation on March 24, 2008 starring Ella Chen and Wu Chun.

Meanwhile, GMA Network aired the first Japanese drama adaptation of the same story on the same day ABS-CBN aired theirs. This one stars Shun Oguri and Maki Horikata.

The anime adaptation has no set release date yet but anime licensing giant Crunchyroll has already acquired the rights for its international release.
