BALLISTIK BOYZ from EXILE TRIBE x GULF KANAWUT from Thailand With Latest Single ‘All I Ever Wanted’
Japan’s big-name supergroup, BALLISTIK BOYZ from EXILE TRIBE is back and ready to capture the hearts of their fans all around the world with their latest single, ‘All I Ever Wanted’. A collaborative effort between both the group and Thai affluential actor and artist, GULF KANAWUT, the single is available today on all major digital streaming platforms.
Produced by prolific Thai EDM producer, BOTCASH, this brand new infectious Hip Hop single, ‘All I Ever Wanted’ revolves around BALLISTIK BOYZ from EXILE TRIBE’s heartfelt and deepest appreciation for their fans. With the belief that their ultimate goal would not hold any meaning if they did not have the constant support of their fans, the group compares it to love from a loved one, emphasizing the importance of companionship and support in achieving dreams.
The group explains that “All I Ever Wanted is all about reaching one's desired destination where it is only fulfilling when it is shared with those we love. It goes beyond individual achievements and embraces the notion that success is more meaningful when it becomes a collective experience with our fans, us as members, our family and friends.”
The music video for the song perfectly complements its message. Building on the theme of their previous release and music video, ‘Drop Dead’, ‘All I Ever Wanted’ delves into a "Post-Apocalyptic" world that has partially recovered from destruction. In this world, BALLISTIK BOYZ from EXILE TRIBE portray their fun and playful side, showcasing that they can find joy even in challenging circumstances as long as they are together as a tight-knit group. GULF KANAWUT plays the role of a survivor in this post-apocalyptic world, serving as a symbol of hope and perseverance, much like BALLISTIK BOYZ from EXILE TRIBE themselves. The video echoes the song's essence, conveying the idea that true happiness lies in the company of loved ones, regardless of any situation. Additionally, the collaboration between the group and GULF KANAWUT further strengthens the connection between the song’s theme and the visual representation, making the overall experience more meaningful for viewers.
With an aim of teaming artists from different cultures together, Thailand’s HIGH CLOUD ENTERTAINMENT’s founder, Hip Hop artist and Executive Producer, F.HERO, initiated this musical pairing of BALLISTIK BOYZ from EXILE TRIBE and GULF KANAWUT. He shares, “The reason why I chose GULF KANAWUT to collaborate on this song is because he and I have worked together before on the song ‘Why you so serious’, and he has the potential to make fun and exciting rap in a song. I wanted to work with him again, and he is like a younger brother to me. I thought that he and BALLISTIK BOYZ would have chemistry working together, so I brought him in to meet and get to know each other and it turned out to be a great collaboration. We had a lot of fun together.”
On working together with GULF KANAWUT, the members of BALLISTIK BOYZ from EXILE TRIBE shares, “This time, F.HERO recommended GULF KANAWUT to us. GULF KANAWUT has not only worked in Thailand but also in Japan and other parts of Asia. We too, have worked not only in Japan but also in Thailand and in Asia. Moreover, we want to work globally. That is a dream that we share with GULF KANAWUT. We thought it would be great if we could strive for that together and achieve greater heights. As a result, this is how ‘All I Ever Wanted’ came together. We previously participated together in the ‘New School Breakin’ Youtube series. This time round, we came back to Thailand and filmed the music video together. He was very kind during the filming. We had a lot of fun during the filming of the music video, and we believe the outcome will be great.”
‘All I Ever Wanted’ is set to leave an indelible mark on the hearts of fans worldwide, inspiring them to cherish their bonds and pursue their aspirations with unyielding passion. BALLISTIK BOYZ from EXILE TRIBE and GULF KANAWUT have created a remarkable piece of art that will resonate deeply with their fans and serve as an inspiration to everyone who listens to it.
