What's New at Hoyo FEST Philippines 2022?

Hoyoverse is back on bringing Hoyo Fest 2022 to different countries, including the Philippines which started this September 2022. After the success of their first-ever Hoyo Fest last 2021, did the event still worth visiting and worth reserving? Let us take you on what we experienced at Hoyo Fest Genshin Impact-themed event.

Like last year, Hoyo Fest 2022 here in the Philippines happened at Moon Rabbit Cafe and Restaurant in San Juan City, Metro Manila. Genshin Impact players and fans had gathered to experience the 2nd Hoyo Fest after the first Hoyo Fest happened in 2021 at the same venue.

Reservations for this event are different compared to last year, where customers can try their luck to reserve a slot thru an online form (unlike last year which was thru a phone call, which brought big inconvenience to most).

Our favorite feature for Hoyo Fest 2022 would be the food. Compared to last year, the food and drinks served this time around were based on the recipe that travelers can cook on the game itself. And what's more, there's a noticeable huge amount of Genshin Impact merchandise to avail and most of them are cheaper compared to what I personally saw on local shops online that cater the same products as well. So it's a great opportunity to buy some for your merch collection!

Let us tour your around the Hoyo Fest 2022 Philippines:

I personally love the Braised Meat and Apple Cider drink. It's a nice addition to order the Chicken Mushroom Skewer for an appetizer as well. I noticed for other countries have additional desserts available but we don't have that available here in the Philippines, so fans order Moon Rabbit's famous bunny-inspired dessert.

They also have a card scratch event where you can try your luck. You can win in-game items, merch, etc. Of course, we tried it but like our gacha luck, we are very unlucky...

We also love that there's a backdrop where you can take photos together with some Sintra board props. 

Can you still go to Hoyo Fest 2022 even without a reservation? Why yes! The event accepts walk-ins as long as there is enough slot inside. Be sure to ask the personnel stationed near the entrance so they can assist you.
