A J-culture Experience in Coslandia 2019
Mixed emotions filled the event of Coslandia 2019 last November 1 – 3 in SMX Convention Center Aura in Taguig City, as it kicks off once again in the heart of every Filipino Otaku, full-packed with surprises, Japanese artists, International and Local idol groups, anime, cosplays, manga, games and many more. The three-day event has been a roller coaster fun ride as we experienced the true and ultimate J-culture Festival, aside from food.
We all know that J-culture ( Japanese Culture) has an immense influenced in us through arts, foods, music, entertainment and other traditional forms which makes us fall in love more in their culture.
Coslandia 2019 Highlights
The anime movie screening was also free during the event of Coslandia 2019. The tear-jerker anime movie entitled "A Silent Voice" by Yoshitoki Oima had been shown on the third day of the event.
All eyes are on the screen, waiting for each "feels" scenes of the said anime movie.
Also, Manga readers/lovers enjoyed the "Free Live Manga Reading" available in the booth of Seikimatsu Blue. By the way, Seikimatsu Blue is a popular fantasy-supernatural genre manga series which is set to release a live-action film adaptation, some MNL48 members are also part of the film cast. Fans of the said manga had been given a chance to meet the people behind the production of Seikimatsu Blue, specifically the manga writer Shintaro Hirota and the film director Tetsuya Hashi.
An unexplainable feeling to meet the people behind making this kind of manga. They are pure Japanese people and had some difficulty in speaking English, anyways, it was a pleasure to meet them.
Here is a video from AMPOGI SHOW showing the highlights of the event.
Coslandia 2019 Guests Brings Fun and Excitement
All the way from Japan, Pikachu from the anime Pokemon, and Dora the explorer visited Coslandia 2019 and set the stage on fire as they showcased their dancing skills. The crowd truly appreciated these two adorable characters who have always been a part of our childhood.
When it comes to J-pop culture, Filipinos are known for being a music enthusiast, no wonder that J-pop captures the beat of our hearts when it comes to performance. Meet the Pastel Mix, Pastel Mix was also present in the said event, these kawaii girls are a local j-pop idol cover group based from Davao. And yes they were slaying the stage as they performed on stage, and hosted some fun activities and games for the crowd.
All in all, Coslandia 2019 has been a sanctuary for all Filipino Otakus, the fun atmosphere of experiencing J-culture, the showcase of talents of otakus, and the hobbies are all memorable.
Our big love for J-culture breaks the language barrier and connects everyone by heart.
