What to expect from The Gathering 11th Tagcom (Toys and Hobbies Convention)?

Tagcom is one of the pioneer conventions in the Philippines. I remember when I was just a newbie cosplayer and we would await each year for TAGCOM which at that time was being held in a different venue. This 2017 is the 11th year of the event and is is dubbed as - The Gathering 11th Tagcom (Toys and Hobbies Convention) and will be held on April 29-30 at SM Megamall Trade Hall 3. What should you expect from this event?

11th Tagcom Cosplay Competition

Every Tagcom event there is the cosplay competition and this year there will again be such an event. April 30, Sunday will be the Cosplay Competition Day. Based on previous events this time it will be one of the events where cash prizes will be given to winners.

Best Male - Php4,500 worth of cash and prizes
Best Female - Php4,500 worth of cash and prizes
Best Chibi - Php3,000 worth of cash and prizes

All you have to do is be in your best cosplay outfit, perform well and impress the judges. The competition judges are not your regular convention judges so expect them to have a different perspective. Judges include Chun Wix, Aien of Art Ninja, Hiro Saeki, and Markee.

Toys and Hobbies Convention

TAGCOM is still one of the biggest toys and hobbies convention with over 50 booths composed of toy sellers and retailers in the Metro. What other conventions cannot copy and will always be the brand of Tagcom is its unique toy auction where you can really get good toys at discounted prices.

Get a chance to see collectors display and exhibit of life size statue from various exhibitors as well. The event is brought to you by Hobby at Worx (Hobbiworx) together with various sponsors.
