Fairy Tail creator Hiro Mashima displayed his love for American superheroes by redrawing the posters for the Japanese premiere opened of Captain America: Civil War. The movie opened up in Japan on Friday, and also Mashima drew both a massive poster for the movie as well as a mini poster that was handed out to guests on opening night. Mashima is a self-professed fan of the Avengers collection while Marvel's vice president of international company advancement & brand name administration C.B. Cebulski is a follower of Mashima's work.
Cebulski relocated to Shanghai earlier this year to "spearhead efforts to more take care of and create Marvel's brand in Asia." A demand was sent to Mashima to redraw the poster, and also the manga maker responded happily, "I cannot think Marvel to licensed me to redraw Iron Man and Cap!".
The first poster on the right is straight-forward, showing both Captain America and Iron Man facing off while the 2nd miniature poster is a spoof showing the characters of Fairy Tail.
