The Beginning is featured in the official soundtrack of the movie and is the latest single from ONE OK ROCK!
ONE OK ROCK is one of the most promising rock artists in Asia according to latest reviews. Their previous singles had entered the Oricon charts and their songs are quite popular. This Japanese rock band is formed in 2005 and is composed of Taka, Toru, Ryota and Tomoya.
The band's name, One Ok Rock is inspired by the English term "one o'clock." This is also the time that the band used to practice on weekends. Since they wanted to be remembered for that and also for being a rock band their transformed it into a term which we all know is typical of Japanese for "r" and "l".
One Ok Rock's first dounle A-side single was "Re:make/No Scared" on July 20, 2011 which then became the main theme for Black Rock Shooted: The Game. Their latest single no doubt, "The Beginning" was used as the main theme for the live action adaptation of the epic anime and manga, Rurouni Kenshin. The single was released on August 22, 2012.
