COSPLAY EVENT: Otaku Encore: SM City Tarlac Cosplay Competition

The first ever cosplay competition at SM City Tarlac is now a reality with Otaku Encore: SM City Tarlac Cosplay Competition on May 26, 2012.  Otac'u!(O' Tarlac Cosplayers Unite!) in partnership with NCPH (Naruto Cosplayers PH) proudly invites everyone to the FIRST Cosplay Competition to be hosted by SM City Tarlac on May 26, 2012 (Saturday).
Otaku Encore: SM City Tarlac Cosplay Competition will have 4 cosplay competition categories which includes:

1. Best In Costume Male - P2,000 SM GC
2. Best In Costume Female - P2,000 SM GC
3. Best Mecha Costume - P2,000 SM GC
4. Best Chibi - 1,000 SM GC

There will also be a surprise category to be announced on the said event and will also win P1,000 SM GC.
Registration for the cosplay event will be on site and will start 10:00am on the event date.  Cosplay competition will be in the afternoon.
Cosplayers better be prepared because the competition will be judged according to the following standards:

• Characterization (cosplayers resemblance to the character he/she is cosplaying in terms of personality and actions) - 25%
• Costume and Accuracy (accuracy of the costume compared to the reference character, costume quality and its visual appeal) - 25%
• Performance (catwalk and performance during the presentation) - 25%
• Overall Appeal (how the character can relate and involve the audience. The overall impact of the cosplayer. This will be judged by selected audience during the event.) - 25%
