Naruto Cosplayers PH and SM City Marilao's Cosplay for Love and Peace: Photos and Aftermath

Cosplay for Love and Peace, a cosplay event for the victims of typhoon Sendong was a huge success.  The event was organized by SM City Marilao and Naruto Cosplayers PH (NCPH).  48 cosplayers joined the Individual Cosplay Competition and battle for the title of Best Mecha Cosplayer, Best Male Cosplayer, Best Female Cosplayer, and Best Child Cosplayer.  Aside from the participants there were about 100 cosplayers which attended the event and the SM Marilao Events Center was packed with people.

The event also served as the launching for the international extension of Naruto Cosplayer Philippine's cosplay for a cause.  An international group, Naruto Cosplayers International (NCI) was launched through an updated video presentation.

Winners of the event includes Patricia Datol, Champion Karaoke Competition; Edwin Theo Santos Rodriguez (Gilgamesh), Best Male Cosplayer; Shyrine Cruz (Witchblade), Best Female Cosplayer; Bolen Lareza (MG-Sinanjin Gundam Suit), Best Mecha Cosplayer; and Cai-Cai Changco (Arnval Busou Shinki), Best Child Cosplayer.

Naruto Cosplayers PH (NCPH) was also able to get donations for typhoon Sendong both in cash and in kind. The event also raised awareness about the importance of ecological friendly shopping through the use of the SM City Marilao eco bag or green bag.

It was a fun filled event which was sparkled with more fun due to the hosting of Dee Jocson, Marian Gatchalian, Kei Ichiro and Alexander Aldana.  Alexander Aldana cosplayed as the famous Zuma a Pinoy anti-hero from the golden Pinoy comics era.

The SM City Marilao and NCPH Cosplay for Love and Peace competition was judged by RG Gamurot, founder of PUP otaku Urule; Dee Jocson, a freelance emcee, cosplayer and photographer; and gorgeous freelance mode, photographer and cosplayer Itel Domingo.

Great assortment of photos can be browsed at Dee Jocson (Cosplay & Photography) showcasing the highlights of the event.

A rising cosplay group in Bulacan was also introduced during the event, Bulacan Teen Cosplayers (BTC).  If there was one word to describe this event it would be FUN.
