Alodia is on Tinier Me and Her Ads Appear on my Sites
Well, while browsing my blogs I get ahold of two ads of Alodia Gosiengfiao. The ads points to a game called Tinier Me, I do not play the game so I am not very familiar with it and as usual Alodia looks stunning. I am not an avid fan of Alodia as well but I recognize her as one of the icons of the Philippine Cosplay scene.
I would like to congratulate Alodia for her success included her entry into showbizness, her tons of endorsements and many more. She deserves it since she is among the few who really started cosplaying in the Philippines when cosplaying was not very popular and cosplayers were considered weirdos.
Now more than ten years after that cosplaying and cosplayers was an in thing. If there is one thing that I would like to contend is that I don't agree with her being called as the Queen of Cosplayers. For me, there is no Queen or King and there is no THE BEST cosplayer for we are all cosplayers. WE are not ruled and no one should rule us for in this world we are having fun and sharing the joy of the cosplay world to others.
In a bit of trivia Alodia and her sister Ashley's rise to the attention of the Filipino public and cosplayers alike came when they were featured in Issue 14 of Culture Crash Magazine. This issue had an alternate/flip cover that marks the first magazine cover appearance of Alodia Gosiengfiao (left) and her sister Ashley (right), as part of its coverage of the 2003 C3 Convention. Alodia cosplayed as Gun Mage Rikku of FFX-2. It would, incidentally, also be the magazine's last issue.
She was also Animax's first ever Levi's Kawaii girl winner in the last episode of Mad Mad Fun, which was announced on air on November 29, 2007. When it comes to beauty well, The Philippine edition of FHM ranked her number 87 in its 2009 poll for 100 Sexiest Women in the World while UNO Magazine included her as one of the most influential women in the Philippines
Anyway, it is nice to see Alodia's ads and I am sure her fans are glad as well.
