Godzilla Anime Trailer and Release Date
Godzilla anime titled as Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters (怪獣惑星- Gojira: Kaijū Wakusei) will be the first ever Japanese animation of the well acclaimed and worldwide known monster. It will also be the 32nd film in the franchise and the 30th produced by Toho.
What is Godzilla Anime?
Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters will be the first in a trilogy of Godzilla anime films. It is set in the year 2048 when humans are forced to leave the Earth after decades of losing to Godzilla and other giant monsters.
After a long journey towards a planet called Tau Ceti e, they found it to be unfit for human life. This requires them to journey back into Earth and reclaim the planet, however, due to space conditions their simple travel equates to 20,000 years passing by in terms of Earth years. In the new time Godzilla is at the top of the food chain.
Godzilla Anime release date and cast
Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters is set for a Japan theatrical release on November 17, 2017. The anime will then be released worldwide through Netflix afterwards. I am sure that the film will also be available in other movie streaming sites that violates copyright, so we advise for everybody to just watch it via legal channels.
