Code Geas New Anime Series
The years old question, "Is Lelouch alive?" will finally be answered as Code Geas New Anime series begins airing possibly in 2017. “Code Geass: Fukkatsu no Lelouch (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Resurrection),” the sequel of the anime is officially confirmed. The new series also coincides with the 10th year of the franchise.
Code Geas new anime series was officially confirmed an event hosted by Sunrise, the holder of the copyright to the series. A teaser which debuted at the event shows Kallen, Jeremiah (Orange), Suzaku and other characters.
According to reports “Code Geass: Fukkatsu no Lelouch (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Resurrection)," will be set years after the "Zero Requiem." If you will remember a video was leaked which shows Lelouch and CC in a carriage in the countryside. This scene sparks speculations that Lelouch is still alive and indeed he is.
Fans also decoded a secret message contained in the event's invitation - "Rebirth of the Demon." This confirms that Lelouch himself will be a major part of the sequel. The main question however is what will be the main battle front in this new series? Will it show a final showdown between Lelouch and Suzaku?
Sunrise also confirmed a three-part film series. Although the movie is a collection of the whole Code Geas Series including “Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion” and “Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2,” there will be new scenes in the movie.
Casts are ask to re-record their lines and provide new voice work for new scenes. It will be interesting to see some back stories as well. The movie is said to be released starting 2017.
