The creator of anime-manga Naruto, Masashi Kishimoto is alive. Kishimoto recently checked in via twitter and dislodged reports that he is one among the nearly 7,000 casualties of the earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan.

Rumors about Masashi Kishimoto's death began spreading when the question "Is Masashi Kishimoto(creater of naruto) ok after the earthquake in japan?" began circulating via Yahoo Answers.

News about Kishimoto had been hard to find since the concentration of the news had been on the tsunami and the current Japan nuclear crisis. To further confirm this report Naruto Manga 532 had just been released.
